Craft ale? Beer?
Whatever you want to call it, I thought I’d have a go and create some for Christmas. After countless hours – sterilising, checking gravity, keeping at a constant(ish) temperature of 26 degrees, adding Amarillo hops, transferring to bottles and finally resting for a few weeks… it’s ready!
I’ve now got 23 litres of ‘Red Beerd’ – It’s a red IPA and my beard is still (sort of) red (with a hint of white).
A very potent 7.4% vol, it’s the perfect antidote to forgetting all your worries.
